The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 14, 2006 Wilbur Boyd Canfield, 88, of Prescott, Ariz., born Nov. 22, 1917, in Yale, Okla., died Monday, Feb. 6,2006, in Prescott. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Bob Stump V.A. Chapel in Prescott. Arrangements by Chino Valley Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2006 Wilbur Boyd Canfield, age 88, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on February 5, 2006 in Prescott. Wilbur was born in Yale, November 22, 1917 to Willis and Ettia Canfield. He served his country in in the US Army during WWII, and received an A.B.S. Degree from Oklahoma A&M University, and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University. Wilbur was associated with Airborne Navigation Corp., which opened in Prescott in 1962. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine Louise Canfield; stepsons, Jerry Bruce Stratton, Debbie; sister, Jo Ellen, Stewart and extended family, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Chino Valley Funeral Home is caring for the family. Information provided by survivors. |
