Dennis Dwight Kelly

Dennis Dwight Kelly died Feb. 13, 2006, at his home in Cordes Junction, Ariz. He was born May 23, 1945, in Kalamazoo, Mich.; the son of Henry D. and Beatrice A. (Laymon) Kelly. Dennis was 60 years old.

Dennis proudly served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969. He was a member of the American Legion and the New River Desert Softball League., He had lived in Arizona for 47 years and enjoyed being outdoors in the beautiful Arizona desert; especially fishing or sharing a good barbecue with his many friends and family.

Dennis enjoyed landscaping and working in his yard, and in his quiet moments he could be found reading a good book.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Morris); they were married June 11, 1965; his son, Tim (Annette) of Chino Valley and daughter, Sharon Sue; brothers, George (Joyce), Howard (Pat) and Robert; and sister, Helen Low, all of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Nathen, Michael, Kyle, Amber, Chance and Chase.

A Celebration of Dennis' life will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at High Desert Park, 19001 Jacie Lane in Black Canyon City, Ariz. Rene Faires will be the MC.

Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel is meeting the needs of the family.
