| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 17, 2006 Dennis Dwight Kelly died Feb. 13, 2006, at his home in Cordes Junction, Ariz. He was born May 23, 1945, in Kalamazoo, Mich.; the son of Henry D. and Beatrice A. (Laymon) Kelly. Dennis was 60 years old. Dennis proudly served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969. He was a member of the American Legion and the New River Desert Softball League., He had lived in Arizona for 47 years and enjoyed being outdoors in the beautiful Arizona desert; especially fishing or sharing a good barbecue with his many friends and family. Dennis enjoyed landscaping and working in his yard, and in his quiet moments he could be found reading a good book. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Morris); they were married June 11, 1965; his son, Tim (Annette) of Chino Valley and daughter, Sharon Sue; brothers, George (Joyce), Howard (Pat) and Robert; and sister, Helen Low, all of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and grandchildren, Nathen, Michael, Kyle, Amber, Chance and Chase. A Celebration of Dennis' life will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at High Desert Park, 19001 Jacie Lane in Black Canyon City, Ariz. Rene Faires will be the MC. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel is meeting the needs of the family. Information provided by survivors. |
