| H. Joy Cretti Born in Primose, Pennsylvania on Aug. 20, 1926. Departed on March 23, 2008 and resided in Rimrock, Ariz. H. Joy Cretti, 81, resident of Rimrock, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008. She was born in Primrose, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1926 to Wayne and Helen (Pyle) Sprankle. Professionally, she worked as a waitress and a welder; however, her most important and rewarding role was that of a mother-having raised nine children. She lived and loved life-filling it with the things she enjoyed; such as, camping and swimming. Joy leaves behind her companion of 14 years, Tom Purvis of Rimrock; her children, Ricardo (Becky) Cretti of Cottonwood, Louis (Janet) Cretti of Washington, Gary (Elvira) Cretti of Germany, David (Ne) Cretti of Flagstaff, Ariz., Beverly (Brian) Rossiter of Oregon, Gina Cretti (Greg S.) of Cottonwood, Lisa (Michael) Mueller of Idaho, and Marian (Juan) Marmolejo of Gilbert, Ariz.; her brother, Cal Sprankle of Alabama; her sister, Marian (Jim) Erdelyi of Wyoming. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her oldest daughter, Jaki, precedes her in death. Private Family Services have been held in honor of her life.
