Born in Bridgeport, Arizona on July 30, 1945.
Departed on Nov. 15, 2007 and resided in Camp Verde, Ariz.

Kenneth Lee Teague, 62, resident of Camp Verde, Ariz., passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. He was born July 30, 1945 in Bridgeport to Colonel A. and Ruth G. (Walker) Teague.

Kenneth remained in the Verde Valley during his childhood and attended the Camp Verde Public Schools.

He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a SP5 (T) in the United States Army.

Prior to his time in the Army, Kenneth worked with his father at the Chevron Station; following which, he worked for Joe Maskell Plumbing and Zellner’s Firewood as a loader operator and mechanic.

Kenneth enjoyed wood-working and welding.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Pauline Teague and Midge Lightfoot; and three brothers-in-law. He leaves behind three brothers, Alvin A. (Valda) Teague of Camp Verde, Bill L. (LuRean) Teague also of Camp Verde and Myrle J. (Carrie) Teague; and four sisters, Verdie R. (John) Blevins of Lake Montezuma, Juanetta New, Scharolettie J. Sloan, and Sophronia E. Zellner - all of Camp Verde.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at the Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

A reception will follow at the Camp Verde Town Ramada on Hollaman St.

Donations are asked to be sent to the V.A. Hospice or any other preferred hospice organization.
