Calvin J. Dimsha, age 49, of Weaverville, died Sunday, April 29, 2007.

Mr. Dimsha was born June 22, 1957, in Elmer, N.J. He was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 9-1/2 years. Calvin was currently employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Systems Analyst. He was formerly with Duralith Corp. of Millville, N.J. for 22 years although the last 5 years were at Lucas Industries in Hampton, Va. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Calvin was the son of Jane Campbell Dimsha of Prescott, Ariz. and the late Charles Dimsha.

Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife of 19 years, Donna L. Boyd Dimsha; daughter, Allison Dimsha of Weaverville; step-sons, Joseph Semus, Jr. and his wife, Becky of Kalamazoo, Mich. and Dean Semus and his wife, Hillary of Collingdale, Pa.; brother, Charles J. Dimsha of Prescott Valley, Ariz. and four grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Katherine and Emma.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with the Bishop Malcolm Reeves officiating.

Burial will be in West Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3 at West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville.
