Robbie Fay (Kendall) Ray

Born Robbie Fay Kendall on December 5, 1916, in Teague, Texas, to George and Mollie O'Brien Kendall, Fay died April 29, 2007, age 90, at her son's residence in Weimar, California, of complications suffered following a stroke.

Fay was an active resident of Prescott Valley, from 1986 until her unfortunate stroke in 2005, a committed Church of Christ member, library volunteer and a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by immediate family members, daughter, Sue Dovey of Albuquerque, N.M.; granddaughter Cheryl Erickson and husband Michael; great-grandsons, James and wife Michelle, and Robert Erickson; daughter, Catherine Weeden and husband Norman of Bozeman, Mont.; and grandsons, A. Matthew and wife Christy, and Charles

Weeden; son, Jon Ray and wife Cynthia of Weimar, California, and grandsons, Ian and Isaac.

Sister Alice Lovelady of Mount Vernon, Texas, and her daughters, Ann Mitchell, Gay Carbaugh, Mollie Lovelady and Mary Caraway, also survive her. Nieces, Connie Kendall Galasso and Claudia Kraner Blalock; and nephews, Mike and Terry Kraner are surviving children of her brother Frank Kendall and sister Connie Kraner, who predeceased her.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prescott Valley Church

of Christ, 8415 E. Manly Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 or to Heifer International would be considered tributes to her life and service.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Prescott Valley Church of Christ, 8415 E. Manly Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz. where friends will be warmly welcomed.
