| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 28, 2009, p. A11 Gabriel Vargas of Wickenburg passed away Jan. 23. He was born in Prescott, Ariz., to Gabriel Vargas and Natalia Rangel. A memorial service will be held in Wickenburg at the American Legion on Saturday (Jan. 31) at noon. Interment will be at the U.S. Military Cemetery in Prescott. Survivors include sisters Carmen Stevens of El Mirage, Ariz.; Maria Vargas of Mesa, Ariz.; Angelina Jones of Bonney Lake, Wash.; brother Peter Vargas of San Francisco, Calif.; and friend Clarence Heatherly of Wickenburg, a best friend for more than 43 years. |
