Cheryl Fay Bailey went to be with the Lord on Friday (Feb. 20). Born on Jan. 9, 1966 in Garden City, Mich., Cheryl moved to Wickenburg in 1972, at the age of 6, where she attended first through 12th grade, graduating in 1984.

She loved her family - her husband Dominic and children, daughter Michal and sons Nathan and Adam and granddaughter Riley; her parents Ron and Sarene Bergman; and siblings Sallie and Dobie Hershkowitz; and Ronnie and Denise Bergman.

Having her family was the most important thing to Cheryl; her greatest joy.

Cheryl loved her dogs and the outdoors, long walks and hiking - especially the Grand Canyon. Cheryl loved the Lord and was strong in her faith, with a love for people that knew no bounds.

Fun loving and outgoing, Cheryl was a joy to her family and all who knew her.

She dedicated many years to Remuda Ranch, employed there until last December.

For 14 years, Cheryl fought a courageous physical battle but never allowed it to stop her from living her life to its fullest.

You will be in our hearts forever, and greatly missed.

There will be a memorial service at the Wickenburg Community Center at 11 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 28). A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to offset medical expenses.

Donations can be made to the Cheryl Bailey Fund at Chase Bank.
