| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 28, 2007 Andrew A. Andress, 83, of Prescott passed away, March 27, 2007. Andrew was born to Agnes and Andrew Andress on Dec. 24, 1923, in Douglas, Arizona. Andrew served in the U.S. Army Air Corps stationed in Italy during World War II, after which he attended NAU and ASU. He married Barbara Collier and they resided in the Valley raising two children, Dale and Sharon. The couple retired to Prescott in 1994. Andrew was the methodical, silent, solid rock in a noisy, boisterous family. His joy and amusement was apparent at every family gathering. Andrew is survived by his wife Barbara; daughter Sharon Nordyke and son-in-law Greg; son Dale Andress and daughter-in-law Terry Andress; six grandchildren, Aubree, Merissa, Adam, Becky, Alex and Jennifer; four great grandchildren, Ben, Jacob, Ethan and Ella. All of his relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at his home, 160 N. Horizon Circle, on Saturday, March 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the DAV, 730 N. 5th Street, Prescott, Arizona, 86301. Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
