Rosalie (Thompson) O'Connor Born in Prescott, Arizona on May 7, 1938. Departed on March 8, 2008 and resided in Cornville, Arizona. Rosalie O'Connor, 69, resident of Cornville, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2008 after her bout with cancer. She was born on May 7, 1938 in Prescott, Arizona; and lived most of her life in Arizona. She was the daughter of Clyde Davis and Opal Almyra (Mecham) Thompson. Her professional endeavors included trading commodities in the stock market, selling Real Estate in the Verde Valley, and working for the Untied States Forest Service. Rosalie possessed an infectious laughter; she will be missed for her wonderful attributes and her great sense of humor; she once stated "the more she was around people, the more she loved animals". Rosalie is survived by her son, Tony Wood of Tucson, Ariz.; and family members; Kevin Britt of Cornvill, Ariz., Arizona; Quentin and Shelley Britt of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Shannon and Bethany Britt of San Diego, Calif. In her memory, a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at 10205 E. Willow Drive in Cornville, Ariz. In her honor, please do not send or bring flowers, but rather, if so inclined, please make a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society, 2724 East Lakin, Suite 9, Flagstaff, Arizona, 86001.
