April Ann (Lindstrom) Bonney was born in Cottonwood, Arizona, March 1, 1950. She entered into the loving arms of Jesus on March 5, 2007. She was many wonderful things to many people, but most of all a loving and beloved wife, mother, sister and friend.

April was an amazingly supportive and loving wife and best friend to her husband Rich for more than 34 years of marriage.

She took great joy in her two sons, Christopher and Brandon - both of whom made her heart soar.

She spent many hours volunteering with the Twilight Lions and with the Mastocytosis Society. She was a ray of sunshine to those who knew her and loved her. April was an avid sports fan and cheered on her two favorite teams, the Phoenix Suns and the Chicago Cubs. She was also the original soccer mom, always cheering on her family and friends and shuttling kids to their games and practices.

She loved nature, writing stories, snow and especially her two Yorkshire terriers, Samson and Gracie.

She loved country music, especially Alan Jackson, as well as Barry Manilow, laughing out loud and Star-bucks coffee Vente latte, no foam, with whip and four raw sugars.) She took great pride in being an Arizona native. She loved going on ride-alongs with our local police departments and her recent trips to Walt Disney World with her family.

April was preceded in death by her mother and father, Morris and Barbara Lindstrom; her brother Jon; and her dear friend Bill.

Many will miss her, including many lifelong friends including; Paula, Lisan, Carole, Janet and Carol and Tony and her two "grand dogs" Mia and Lilo.

She leaves behind her laughter, her hugs and her loving family and friends; her loving husband of 34 years, Richard, of Prescott; her sons, Christopher of Prescott and Brandon and wife Amy of Prescott; sisters Susan and husband Jim of Prescott, and Karen and husband Frank of Wyoming; brother Morris and his wife Mary of Oregon; and
wonderful "mother-in-love" Barbara of Prescott.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Jennifer and her husband Steve of Chino Valley, and Mike and wife Shannon of Skull Valley.

A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Dan Storvick will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, April would love to have donations in her name made to The Yavapai Humane Society, P.O. Box 12, Prescott, Ariz., 86302 or The Mastocytosis Society, P.O. Box 511, Plainville, Conn., 06062.

We will hold her in our hearts forever and know that one day soon, we will be together again. We all love you.

The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
