| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, March 6, 2007 Manuel Jesus "Chito" Mendibles, age 34, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away March 1, 2007, in Prescott. Chito was born May 2, 1972, in Prescott. Chito was a very loving and caring person, touching the hearts of everyone he met and loved. Chito was a talented creative artist, who used his imagination in his drawings. He was a very loving father to his son Manuel Jesus "Babychito" Jr. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Chito is survived by his son, "Babychito"; his parents, Pat and Esther Flores; four brothers, Guillermo and Joseph Mendibles, Patrick Flores of Prescott and Edgar Taylor of Parker, Ariz.; two sisters, Ruth Ann "CuCa" Mendibles and Andrianna Flores both of Prescott; nieces, Tina and Joie Mendibles, Elena Flores and Sarah Mendibles; and nephews, Alex Flores and Orlando Mendibles; grandmother Mary Mendibles; and many, many other family members and friends. Chito was preceded in death by his father Willie. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, at the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St. A Rosary and vigil service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery. The Hampton Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
