Ardis Pauline "Pat" Craig, 89, of Prescott, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, May 23, 2007, at the Prescott Samaritan Village.

Pauline was born May 29, 1917, in Oklahoma City and the only child of Basil Graham and Rubie Grove.

Pauline married Robert Taylor Craig Jr. Feb. 2, 1936, in Marietta, Okla.

She was a 10-year resident of the area.

Mrs. Craig was an LPN for several hospitals in Topeka and a hospice volunteer. She was a member of the Eastern Star, League of Women Voters, a 50-year member of the DAR in Topeka and Prescott and the Red Hat Society. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter and grandson.

Survivors include two daughters, Sallye Brown of Kansas City, Mo., and Suellen Baltzer of Albuquerque, N.M., a son Robert T. Craig III of Prescott; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007, at Prescott Samaritan Village, 1030 Scott Drive. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
