Susan (Fielder) Caldwell

Susan Caldwell, 57, was born June 6, 1949, in Junction City, Kan., to Elvin (Bud) and Charlotte Fielder. She passed away May 22, 2007, in Paradise Valley, Ariz., surrounded by her family.

She was the oldest of four girls. Susie was raised in Dwight, Kan., but spent the last 20 years in Arizona where she ran a successful business. Susie had two children, Jeffrey and Jennifer, with her former husband, Charles Caldwell.

Susie is survived by her son Jeff (Dana) Caldwell of Newport Beach, Calif.; daughter Jennifer (Hans) Hensley of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; parents Bud and Charlotte Fielder of Council Grove, Kansas; sisters Connie (Joe) Beal of Prescott, Ariz., Rhonda (Frank) Sandier of Prescott, and Robin Demby of Lawrence, Kan.; grandsons Jake Caldwell and Kaden and Maddox Hensley; and her longtime companion, Hal Friga.

A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Ariz., and 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Marion Hill Lutheran Church, White City, Kan. The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society for ovarian cancer research, in lieu of flowers.

Green Acres Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
