Frances (Frankie) (Nixon) Knight

Frances (Frankie) Knight, 65, of Cottonwood, Ariz., died March 11, 2007. She was born Nov. 18, 1941, to Joseph Edgar and Ida Lou (Carrol) Nixon in Junction, Texas, where she grew up and graduated from the local high school.

Frankie owned a craft shop, and volunteered her time as a craft teacher. She dedicated almost 10 years of her life as a Girl Scouts of America Leader, as well as, was a member of the Verde Valley Computer Club. Frankie was also a member of the Diabetic Society.

Frankie leaves behind her beloved husband of 47 years, Norman Knight, of Cottonwood; her son, Gary Knight (Laurie) of Aguanga, Calif.; her daughter, Lori Ann Knight of Whittier, Calif.; and her sister Vi Kirby of Yuba City, Calif.

A private family service will be held in her honor.
