Floy Mae Keene, 81, of Camp Verde, Ariz., born in Snyder, Texas, Nov. 16, 1925, died March 14, 2007. She was married to the late James Keene.

Floy moved to Camp Verde in 1965 where she worked at Boler's Bar. She then owned and operated the Rio Verde Bar until 1968. She and her long time companion Joseph Allen owned and operated the Village Store in Clear Creek and the Windmill Snack Shop in Strawberry.

She is survived by her sister Olia Clifton of Burnett, Texas; daughters Kennie Keene-Johnston of Vancouver, Wash., and Launa Keene-Cavazos of Surprise; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

At Floy's request, no services will be conducted. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice Inspiris, 2025 N. Third St., Suite 205, Phoenix Ariz., 85004.
