George Mike Neuberger, 84, longtime resident of Phoenix, previously of Prescott, Ariz., passed away February 14, 2009, in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was born February 14, 1924, in Lake City, South Dakota, to the late George L. and Mary (Reiner) Neuberger.

George proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the World War II. He also worked as a superintendent and operating engineer for road construction and worked on many road projects throughout the state. George is survived by his daughters, Dianne Frazier (Dewey William) of Cottonwood and Mary LeeAnn Hensley of Anchorage, Alaska; his son, Randolph George Neuberger of Flagstaff; his grandchildren, Melanie Rae Frazier (Lee McCoy), Brenna Lea Nichol (Jason), Starvia James, and Monique James; and his great-grandson, Zachary William Nichol.

Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
