The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, February 28, 2009 Larry Thomas Dean, 62, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, in Phoenix, Ariz. Larry was a second-generation Santa Fe Railroad Conductor following in the path of his older brothers and his father. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, George Able Dean and Cornelia Thompson Dean; and brothers Billy Dean, Franklin Dean and his twin Harry Dean. He is survived by son Ryan Dean; two sisters, Betty Dean Hintz and Joyce Dean Bevirt; nephews Davey Hintz, Michael Dean, James Bevirt and Frank Bevirt; nieces Lesa Bevirt and Diana Partridge; and numerous great-nieces and great nephews, and many friends in the Prescott area. A graveside service for Larry will be 1 p.m. March 2, 2009, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix Ariz., 85024. The family has asked in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the Salvation Army, which Larry truly admired for their work and their help when he was in need.
