Dorothy C. Zink (Dot), 98, of Sun City, Arizona, beloved wife of Milton, passed peacefully into God¹s care on Sunday, April 2, 2006. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, November 7, 1907 to the late Irvan and Marie Christian. Dorothy was an accomplished individual having completed high school and attended business school. She then went on to work in the secretarial field for almost forty years, her last position as the secretary to the president of Libby Owens Glass, a division of Owen Illinois in Toledo, Ohio. After retiring in 1960, she became a world traveler with her husband Milton. She was a member of the Passport Club of Sun City for many years. They traveled the United States with the Airstream Travel club and visited all of the fifty states creating many wonderful memories as well as scrapbooks. Dorothy was a member of the Eastern Star for almost seventy five years and a past high Priestess of the White Shrine of Toledo. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sun City for over forty five years and spent the last eight years in the loving care of the professionals at Royal Oaks Life Care facility. The family will be forever grateful to Royal Oaks. She was preceded in death by her brother and his wife, Richard and Florine Christian of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; her sister and her husband, Gladys and Howard Kahler of Anchorage, Alaska; and a nephew, Kent Kahler, of Washington. She is survived by her niece and her husband, Nancy and Ty Thill of Salem, Connecticut; and nephew and his wife, John and Kathryn Christian of Apple Valley, Minnesota; and nephew and his wife, Phillip and Fran Kahler of Rochester, New York; two grand nieces; three grand nephews; and one great grand nephew. Memorial service was held at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 12225 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Arizona on Thursday, April 13, 2006.
