Adalbert Vil

Adalbert Vil, 94, of Peoria, passed away on April 17, 2006, with his family beside him. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey, and his son Robert. He is survived by three children, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He had a career that ranged from wharf manager at Eastern Asiatic, a Danish import export company, in Thailand, to engineer at Motorola in Arizona. His former boss at Motorola said, 'Whenever we had a problem that needed solving, we would go to Al.' He was a very friendly person, extremely polite, and a true gentleman. He was multi-talented and enjoyed playing several musical instruments, painting, photography, tennis and sailing. He loved nature and looked at the world with the eyes of an artist and photographer and found beauty everywhere.
