| Deborah Vaughn was Born June 30, 1951 in Flushing, NY. She was the daughter of Stanley and Mildred Gerstenfeld. She passed away in Mesa surrounded by her loving family on June 26, 2006 after a courageous battle with various medical conditions. Debbie spent the first part of her life in Southern California where she met her beloved husband Raimund Vaughn. After having a son, Eric, they moved to AZ where they have spent the last 28 years. Her life has been full of family, friends, boating, traveling and living life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Raimund; her son Eric Vaughn and his wife Andrea; and her brother Steven Gerstenfeld and his wife Judi. A grandchild, Edward James, is due in early October. She is preceded in death by her parents. A viewing was held at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ. Funeral services were Thursday, June 29th, 2006 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 1844 E. Dana Ave., Mesa, AZ. All are welcome. Published in The Arizona Republic on 6/28/2006. |
