She was the oldest of four children. Madeleine loved to ride her pony with her brother and sisters every morning before school. Madeleine also developed a passion for the family business of photography. She along side of her sisters, Leone and Yvonne, worked in the family studio, Svenson Photography.

There, Vic and Madeleine continued to build custom homes, Madeleine became one of the originating members of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce. Madeleine remained an ambassador to the chamber until her passing. Madeleine kept busy with her children and grandchildren and all the organizations in which she belonged. Her zest for life will be greatly missed.
