Carol Marie Kelty, 74, of Prescott, Ariz., born July 27, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., died Friday, March 17, 2006, in Prescott.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Commemoration services will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Charlotte Bryan-Matzke officiating.

Carol M. Kelty, age 74, died March 17, 2006, in Prescott, Arizona. She was born July 27, 1931, in Chacigo, Illinois to Roy and Mercedes (Nelles) Henning.

Carol enjoyed square dancing, bowling and horseback riding. Carol was good in the kitchen and loved to cook and bake for her family's enjoyment. Carol and Jim shared 51 years of marriage together.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Henning and Mercedes (Nelles) Henning; her sister, Phyllis; and nephew, Roy Smith.

Carol is survived by her husband, Jim Kelty; sisters, Jacqueline (Wesley) Ackerman of Calif., Marilyn Smith of Ariz., and Patricia McCourt of Mass.; sister-in-law, Jeanne Heinberg of Ariz.; many nieces and nephews and cousins by the dozens; and her special guardian dog, Rusty.

A commemoration service in honor of Carol will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley, with a visitation one-hour prior. Reverend Charlotte Bryan-Matke will officiate.

The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Carol be made to: YRMC Hospice Restricted Fund, 3262 N. Windsong Dr., Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314.
