Old, Respected Pioneer Passes
Many in This County Grieve Over Loss of Mrs Abbie Condron; Was Survivor of Historic Walnut Grove Flood Tragedy

It was with keen regret that the people of this county learned of the death of Mrs Abbie Condron, who passed away at the home of her son, Daniel D. Condron, who has been temporarily residing at Wickenburg.

Mrs Condron came from Ireland and for a time resided in New York. She was aged 73 years. She settled in Arizona more than 50 years ago, at Wagoner, near Walnut Grove. Her kindnesses and benefactions were lavishly bestowed upon all who came in contact with her and many are the citizens in this community who can testify to the aid received from her.

Living at Wagoner at the time of the breaking of the Walnut Grove dam, she rendered promt and efficient services to the sufferers from that historic tragedy.

She leaves surviving her two sons, Daniel D Condron and J F Condron, both well known and respected cattlemen of the county.

Funeral services were held in Wickenburg, and a large funeral party met them at Kirkland. The remains were intered at Wagoner by the side of her loved ones, who had passed away prior to her demise.
