Ynocente D. Rios

Ynocente D. Rios, 76, of Oracle, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson.

He was born Dec. 28, 1932 to Santiago and Angelina Duarte Rios in Hayden and was raised in Hayden. Mr. Rios joined the United States Air Force at a young age and following his service to his country, he moved to California where he attended trade school to become an auto mechanic and an aerospace machinist. He worked for many years in the aerospace industry before retiring and then returning to Arizona to make his home in Oracle.

As a hobby, Mr. Rios enjoyed fixing cars and he was always helping someone.

He was a devoted husband of 53 years to his beloved wife Renee and a loving father and grandfather. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Left behind in loving memory are his wife, Renee A. Rios of Oracle; daughter, Evelyn M. (Robert) Radillo of Riverside, California; sons, Paul A. Rios of Woodland Hills, California, Phillip A. (Crystal) Rios of Tucson and Mark D. (Vivian) Rios of Castle Rock, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth D. Aguirre, Angie D. Huerta, Juanita D. Avery and Emmy D. Munoz; brothers, Joseph D. Rios, Peter D. Rios and Thomas D. Rios as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation and services were held Monday, March 9, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Oracle with Monsignor Nwohu celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was a Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.

Griffith Mortuary assisted the family.
