Born in Corona, New York on May 29, 1916.
Departed on April 7, 2008 and resided in Sedona, Ariz.

Charles (Dutch) Schultzman, born in Corona, N. Y. on May 29, 1916 to Charles and Sally (Schuettler) Schultzman; passed away at his Sedona home on Monday, April 7, 2008. Dutch and his wife of 62 years, Mary lived in Sedona for 26 years.

He served the "C" Troop of the 12th Cavalry Division during WWII. His was the first division to be sent overseas in the Pacific theatre of war. Dutch was discharged with honors in 1945 spending a total of four years in combat.

He worked for the Automobile Club of Southern California until he had to retire on long term disability in 1971. Dutch was an excellent husband, father, and grandfather; he will be truly missed by many.

Dutch leaves behind his wife, Mary; two sons, Gary Schultzman, wife, Sally of Yucaipa, Calif., and Guy Schultzman, wife, Barbara of Saratoga Springs, N. Y.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church of Sedona at 3:00 pm.
