Tony Glen Vaughn

Tony Glen Vaughn, 70, a loving, wonderful, husband, father, grandfaher, and great-grandfather went to be with his maker on Dec. 30th, 2005.

After graduating high school at 17 Tony entered the Air Force. While serving at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah he met and married his earth angel Marjorie Gallacher. After the Air Force he became an Air Traffic Controller and retired at age 52 from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to fish and hunt. His greatest outdoor passion was golf, where he could be found two to three times a week on several valley golf courses with his friends or family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Vaughn, his greatest passion. He is remembered by his children, his son, Tracy, three daughters Marsha, Madge, Mickey and their loving spouses Clarence, Tim, and Kevin, his 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with one on the way; also three brothers and one sister.

Born in Cardwell, Missouri he was a true southern gentleman who touched the lives of numerous people and made many friends throughout his life.

Visitation and services were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 39th Avenue and Country Gables.
