Born in Irricana, Alberta, Canada on July 16, 1919.
Departed on Feb. 3, 2004 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz.

Donald Irwin Prickett, 84, of Clarkdale died February 3. He was born July 16, 1919 in Irricana, Alberta, Canada.

Mr. Prickett retired from the United States Air Force where he was a decorated World War II veteran, an Air Force jet pilot, a heavy bomber and a nuclear physicist. He was a member of the USAF Association and the Coral Ridge Ministries. He was a strong and vocal critic of the American Civil Liberties Union. He had a strong faith in God and was a most caring loving, honest and caring person. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

He leaves his wife of 61 years, Mary Elizabeth Prickett; two daughters, Pamela Elizabeth Prickett of Pueblo, Colo. and Penelope E. Buck of Clarkdale, Ariz.; a son Patrick Thomas Prickett of Lake City; a brother, Robert Milton Prickett, a nephew Robert Prickett and niece Cheryl Gentle, all of Utah; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There are no public services planned.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Arizona Lung Association, 102 W. McDowell, Phoenix, Arizona, 85003.
