| Carolyn Louise (Dessel) Hiller Born in Tulare, California on Nov. 18, 1944 Departed on Aug. 29, 2006 and resided in Sedona, AZ. Carolyn Louise Hiller, age 61, resident of Sedona, Arizona passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2006 in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was born November 18, 1944 in Tulare, California to Ardell and Dorothy Dessel. Carolyn worked in Sales and Public Relations. She was a collector of antiques; she enjoyed interior design, sewing, music, dance, cooking and a variety of arts. Carolyn loved hiking in and around the red rocks of the Sedona area, and nutrition was also important to her. Carolyn leaves behind two sons, Shawn Stanley of San Antonio, Texas, and Erich Hiller of Cottonwood, Ariz.; four daughters, Gretchen Anaya, husband Victor, of Lancaster, Calif., Sara Shafer of Lake Montezuma, Ariz., Anna Hiller of Camp Verde, Ariz., and Amie Hiller of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Gene Dessel, Victor Dessel, and Richard Dessel, all of whom reside in Tulare, Calif.; as well as 2 grandchildren. Carolyn’s life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends at a future date.
