| Petra "Grandma Bessie" Valdez, 86 of Phoenix, AZ passed away February 14th, 2006. Bessie was born March 12 1919 in Seguin, TX. She is survived by 1 brother Martino Herrera, 97, in San Antonio, TX. Also by daughters Mary (husband Victor) Montalvo, Mary Ann (husband Bill) Lowery, Danny (wife Nellie) Valdez, Ernesto Valdez, Vincent (wife Rachel) Valdez, Jose (wife Beatrice) Valdez, Benito (wife Gaby) Valdez, Pete (wife Lupe) Valdez, and Jesus T Valdez. She also has numerous beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary at Samaritan Funeral Home 1505 E. McDowell Rd, Phx AZ. Burial at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetary 2300 W. Van Buren St. Bessie was very loved and will be missed. She will always live in our hearts forever. Published in The Arizona Republic on 2/21/2006. |
