| Edna J. (Edde) Kirby Born in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts on March 24, 1927. Departed on April 12, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Edna (Edde) Kirby, 76, of Cottonwood died April 12. She was born March 24, 1927 in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Mrs. Kirby had been a volunteer at Verde Valley Medical Center and various charitable organizations. She leaves her husband, Jim Kirby; three daughters, Lettie Holland, Sharon Phelps and Lydell Kirby, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sons, Dan Downs of Darrington, Wash., Steve Downs of N.Y., and Robert Kirby of Marissa, Ill,; and eleven grandchildren. A son, Kenny Kirby preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 19 in the Cottonwood Cemetery at 2 P.M. Westcott Funeral Home is handling these arrangements.
