Born in La Veta, Colorado on Oct. 8, 1908.
Departed on Aug. 10, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Pauline Ball, 98, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2007. She was born in Colorado in 1908.

She spent most of her adult life in southern New Mexico, but she has also lived in Texas, and for the last few years in Arizona near her granddaughter, Roberta Serface of Clarkdale.

She also leaves behind two other grandchildren; her great-grandsons, Victor W. Serface of Cottonwood, and Shawn M. Serface of Oklahoma; and numerous other great and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Wayne K. Baxter.

She was an artist; she loved to hunt and fish, and she spent her entire life knowing the southwest intimately.

Pauline will be taken to her birthplace in Colorado for burial. There are no local services planned.
