Born in Pasadena, California on April 16, 1928.
Departed on Sept. 2, 2007 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz.

Henry "Hank" Scott, 79, resident of Clarkdale, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2007. He was born April 16, 1928 to William S. and Oggellette (Gist) Scott in Pasadena, California.

He attended and graduated from the Big Creek / Clovis School District; following which, he attended Long Beach State and received his AA Degree.

Hank was a 30 year resident of Walnut Creek, California where he worked for Dow Chemical; accomplishing five patents while employed there. He also worked out of other branches in Seal Beach, California and Pitsburg, California. Later he became a self-employed contractor.

He enjoyed fishing and boating; and had a great sense of humor. Hank was very devoted to his family. He was a loving husband and father; he was admired by his children and grandchildren; and respected by his peers.

Hank is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Gloria of Clarkdale; his son, Henry Scott, also of Clarkdale; two daughters, Marnie Brennan of Martinez, Calif., and Kathy West of Cypress, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A Private Memorial Service, honoring his life, will be held at a later date in Cypress, California.

Contributions may be made in his name to any Hospice Organization within the Verde Valley.
