David Norman Allred died March 11, 2009. He was born Dec. 29, 1935, in Thatcher, Ariz., to Larue and Gladys (Haggard) Allred.

Norman loved to draw, hunt, hike, fish and tease. He will be remembered for his smile, helpfulness, and ability to fix or make anything.

Norman loved working with the youth, traveling with his wife to visit his grandkids and working in the LDS temple.

He was a partner with Allred Chevrolet and Allred Brothers Auto Sales.

He served as a Bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Allred; his children, Janice, David, Sherri, Diane, and Paula; 29 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Monte, Harold, Terry, Dale; and his sister, Donna McClellan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Larue and Gladys, and his sister, Pauline Allred.

He was adored by his family and loved by all.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Cottonwood Stake Center, 1377 Hombre Drive, with a visitation for friends and family starting at 9 a.m.
