Born in Los Angeles, California on March 27, 1927.
Departed on Jan. 23, 2008 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz.

George Paul Heim, Sr., passed away at home in Clarkdale on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the age of 80.

George was born on March 15, 1927 in Los Angeles, California to Parey Stanley and Coconino Adella (Miller) Heim. He attended the Needles Public Schools and was a high school graduate.

George served his country during WWII in the United States Navy as a Seaman. Professionally, he dedicated 20 years of his life as an Analytical Chemist. He retired from the Phoenix Cement Plant.

George was a good father, and a wonderful grandpa. He was a hard worker; but he also played hard … enjoying such activities as camping, fishing, bowling, and especially being with his family and doing things with them.

George leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Heim of Clarkdale. He was the father of George P. Heim, Jr., with his wife, Susan of Camp Verde, and Cynthia D. Heim-Moeser of Queen Creek. He was also the grandpa of 2 and the great-grandpa of 4.
