| Manuel I. Padilla Born in Superior, Arizona on Dec. 12, 1950. Departed on March 10, 2009 and resided in Clarkdale, Ariz. Manuel I. Padilla, 58, of Clarkdale, Ariz. died March 10. He was born December 12, 1950 in Superior, Ariz. He attended Clarkdale-Jerome schools and graduated from Mingus Union High School. He worked as a maintenance and groundskeeper for different resorts in the Sedona area and worked with the Yavapai-Apache construction crew. He loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Padilla. Mr. Padilla is survived by his wife, Lucille Johnson; son, Chris Padilla of Florence, step-sons, Nathan, Chris and Nate Russell; step-daughters Jennifer Russell, Genevieve Russell, and Jessie Russell all of Clarkdale; father-in-law, Morgan Johnson, sisters Guadalupe (Lynn) Evans of Yuma, Ariz. and Paula (Alfred) Corona of Hayden, Ariz., eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
