Lloyd Eugene Hydle Born in Santa Monica, Calif. on Jan. 4, 1949. Departed on June 24, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. L. Gene Hydle, 59 of Cottonwood, passed away June 24, 2008. He was born January 4, 1959 in Santa Monica, Calif. to Jesse and Nina Hydle. Gene served in Vietnam, receiving numerous medals. He later worked in logging, EMT, Park Ranger, telephone, and car mechanic. He owned Cottonwood Carburetors from 1999 to 2000 and was past commander of VFW Post 7400. Gene enjoyed fishing, camping and playing his guitar. Gene is survived by his wife of 15 years, Caiti of Cottonwood; son Christian Evans (Melanie) of Clinton, Wash; brothers Tony Vice (Varonica) of Irrigon, Or.; sisters April Tremble (Christ) of Sandpoint, Id., Annette Barnes (Howard) of Las Vegas, Nev., Frances DeCoria (Bob) of Benton City, Wash., and Ragen Hart of Irrigon, Or.; and his mother Nina L. Vice. Services were held at the VFW on Friday. In lieu of flowers please send donations to VFW Post 7400.
