Warren Roy Shelby, 77, of Cottonwood died July 25. He was born April 20, 1931 in Greentown, Ohio, the son of Roy Richard Shelby and Alvena Ruth Rouse Shelby.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed in the maintenance department for an aerospace company.

Mr. Shelby will be remembered as a loving husband father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores Shelby; two sons, Richard Shelby, wife Linda of Phoenix and Michael Shelby, wife Urlene of Mesa; a daughter Catherine Joenz, husband Charles of Phoenix; a brother Dwight Shelby of Globe, Ariz.; and also Mitch Ferneau, wife DeAun of Glendale, Ariz.; four grandchildren, and one and a half great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held. The family asks that instead of flowers, donations to your favorite charity.
