The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/24/2014 Justin Lee Fisher, 31, died Jan. 18, 2014, in Springerville. He was born Dec. 12, 1982, in Omaha, Neb., to William Penny Fisher and Jacqueline Sue Hanson Fisher and was their pride and joy. Justin resided in Springerville and graduated from Round Valley High School in 2001. He had an over-the-top personality that drew people to him. He made everyone feel welcome, wanted and loved. He took everyone under his wings and would teach, help and push them to be the best they could be. He loved working. At age 16, he joined the Springerville Fire Department and has spent the past four years as their assistant chief. In 2000, Justin began working for White Mountain Ambulance Services and was a paramedic for them before his death. On Sept. 4, 2004, he married Stacy Ann Wagen and together they raised five beautiful children: Mika Anthony, Kayla Lynn, Kyra Chloe, Cooper William and Carter Benjamin. Justin was very proud of his family and was devoted to them. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and especially rock crawling in his Jeep. He was always looking to learn a new skill, find a new hobby or lend a helping hand. He is survived by his parents, wife and children, as well as his brother Benjamin Fisher and fiancee Erin Howard of Evanston, Ill., and sister Bethany Fisher of Concho. Justin is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends and co-workers. “His death has left a huge gap in our hearts and community.” A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at the Round Valley High School Auditorium. A Justin L. Fisher Donation Account has been set up at National Bank of Arizona to assist the family in this time of need, and donations can be accepted at any National Bank of Arizona branch.
