| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Mike A. Gronek, age 47 passed away on March 7, 2009 at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on Nov. 30, 1961 in Phoenix, Ariz. Mike was a graduate of Prescott High School. Right after high school, Mike joined the U.S. Navy and defended our country for 4 1/2 years. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He was an avid camper and sports fan. He loved spending time with his friends. Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne and his mother, Ann Landers Gronek. Mike is survived by his wife Tena Gronek; father Dan (Harriet) Gronek; brothers, Tim Gronek, Mat (Michelle) Gronek; sister Rhonda (Kevin) Self; step-mother Shirley Keenan. Services will be on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home for the family.
