John LeRoy Patrick, 55, the son of James and Lea Patrick, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006 surrounded by his family. John was born June 15, 1950 in Portland, Ore., and moved to Prescott with his family in 1957.

He graduated from Prescott High School in 1968. John then served with the US Army inVietnam, receiving numerous medals and awards.

After returning to Prescott, John joined the IBEW and became a journeyman electrician.

John met and married Rene Rizzo in August of 1979. John spent many years working for the City of Prescott. He maintained and installed the majority of the water pump stations, which supplied water to Prescott and the surrounding area. His knowledge of water and electrical issues and his ability to solve related problems was an invaluable resource to the city and surrounding communities.

John was a good man, kind and gentle, he touched many lives. John will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

John was preceded in death by his father, James Patrick and his brother, Thomas.

John is survived by his wife, Rene; and their three sons, Gregory, and his wife Crystal; Elliott, and his fiancee Jennifer, and their daughter, Haylee Lynn; and his youngest son, James Isaac. Other surviving family members are his mother, Leah Patrick; sister, Valerie, and her husband Robert Reed. The Reed's children; Brenda, husband Dean
Lyon, and their daughters, Meghan, Taryn and Nichole; James Reed, wife Sarah, and their children, Kyla and Isaac; Thomas Reed and his wife Angela; Robert Reed and his fiance Crystal; mother-in-law Phyllis Rizzo, and her children; Robert and Pam, David and Delia, Cheryl and John, Jeffrey and LaVern and many nieces and nephews.

Pastor Galen Nesham, a long time family friend, who married John and Rene, will be speaking at the service.

Services will be held at Heritage Memory Mortuary, located at 131 Grove Avenue in Prescott, Arizona on Sunday, March 5th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.

John will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery at 1051 Willow Creek Road in Prescott immediately following the service.

Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary Prescott, Ariz.
