Susie Romolo, 65, of Prescott, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2006. Born in Chicago, Ill., Susie worked as a singer and model.

After moving to Arizona in the 1970s, her passion for horses became a reality.

Susie's cheerful disposition and bubbly personality brought joy to all she met. She always said how blessed she was to have so many wonderful friends.

Her job at the Dinner Bell allowed her to meet many special people. She was an avid horsewoman, who also loved birding, animals, and nature. Decorating was also one of her hobbies, as well as traveling to many parts of the world.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank of 43 years; her daughter, Laurie (Romolo) Fingleton; son-in-law, Brian Fingleton; grandson, Steven Fingleton; sister, Marilynn Pauwels; and brother-in-law, Richard Pauwels.

A private service was held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susie's name can be made to Margaret T. Morris Center, 878 Sunset Ave., Prescott, Ariz., 86305 or your favorite animal charity.

Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott.
