The Big Bug News, Yavapai County, Arizona Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Orland Francis Wilson was born in Imlay City, Mich. on Feb. 26, 1929. He passed away on Feb. 26, 2009. Preceding him in death was his wife of 47 years, Laura Celesta (Yost) Wilson, who died in 2000. Also, preceding him were his mother, Mary Bertha (Guild) Nephew and father, Earl William Wilson, both of Imlay City, Mich. Orland had been employed at General Motors for 30 yeas before retiring. Orland had moved to Black Canyon City, Ariz., to live with his stepson and his wife, William C. and Kay Beckman. He leaves five stepchildren, Florance Wilcox of Caro, Mich., Gloria Fick of Lum, Mich., Audrey (Ronald) Hart of Kennewick, Wash. and Kathryn (Steve) Kessell of Penn Valley, Calif. and William (Kay) Beckman. Orland had 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 44 great, great-grandchildren. A brother-in-law Richard (Gail) Yost of Lapeer, Mich., a half sister Kathleen Stuart, a step niece, Valerie Dalgard of Austin, Texas, a half brother Earl (Linda) Nephew of Buckner, Mo. Orland will be cremated and placed next to his wife Laura at Dawn Memorial Cemetery in Lapeer, Mich. His family will sadly miss him. The family will have a private memorial.
