The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, March 14, 2006 Barbara Lee Berger, age 75, of Prescott, died at her home in March 7, 2006. She was born Feb. 4,1931, in Los Angeles, Calif., to James and Margaret (Mays) Hendrick. Barbara met her husband Joe while working as a Nursing Aide. They were married for 50 years. They lived in California and moved to Arizona in 1983. She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and loved her pets. She was President of the Ladies Koffee Klutch in the Mountain Club for several years. During her last year of life she fulfilled her dream of going to Graceland, the home of her idol - Elvis. Barbara is survived by het daughter Jolene Berger of Prescott; her sister Carol Brown Merrill; and three grandchildren, Ali Jimenez, Joey Jimenez and Jacob Berger. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, and sons, Mark and Dan Berger. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at the Ruth Street Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation in the Relief Society Room will be at 10 a.m., with services following the visitation at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Inglewood Cemetery in Inglewood, California. In lieu of flowers, donations to the YRMC Hospice, Heritage Park Zoo or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
