Eleanor Delores Schultz, age 92, died March 13, 2005 at her home in Glendale. She was born February 17, 1913 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Before moving to Glendale in 1968 she graduated from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York as a dietician in 1935. She was Head Dietician at Roosevelt Hospital in New Jersey.

Her love of children caused her to enter a second career as a kindergarten teacher. She was a member of the Glendale Women's Club for more than 25 years. Her passions in her later years were bridge, cooking and traveling with her husband.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Sr.; her sister, Evangeline Darago of New Jersey; her children, Father Charles Schultz, Jr. of California, Joyce Clark of Glendale and Elizabeth Anderson of California; her grandchildren, Kevin, Elysse and Christian; and her great grandchildren, Shelby and Kevin.

Visitation with Rosary was at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church at 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale. A Mass was offered on at Noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale to be followed by a reception on W. Cavalier Drive in Glendale.

Internment is at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road, Avondale. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: the Hospice of the West Valley, 9720 W. Peoria Avenue, Suite 128, Peoria, Arizona 85345-6133. Published in The Arizona Republic from 3/15/2005 - 3/16/2005.
