Marie Gertrude Epprecht

Marie G. Epprecht (nee Myers), 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 12, 2014 in her home in Sedona, AZ.

She was born on November 12, 1935 in Cincinnati, OH. The majority of her adult life was spent in Geauga County in Ohio. She was employed by Great Lakes Cheese for 14 years working in various accounting and customer service roles. The last 15 years she enjoyed her retirement in Sedona, AZ. She enjoyed baking, golfing, quilting, traveling and spending time with her family. Her quiet and gentle spirit was fueled by her optimistic outlook and loving and kind heart.

Marie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Hans Epprecht. She also leaves behind her children, Tom (Catherine) Kenny, Cathy Stamm and stepchildren, John (Debra) Epprecht, Heidi Epprecht Eller, Kurt (Kimberly) Epprecht; grandchildren, Patrick Kenny, Bill Stamm, Michelle Stamm, Vicky (Mark) Pelsozy, Lauren Epprecht, Steven Epprecht, Allison (Robert) Bolet Cafaro, Matthew Eller, Cory Epprecht and Nathan Epprecht; great grandchildren, Connor Stamm, Grace and Anna Pelsozy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester & Marie Myers, two sisters Ruth Clark and Dorothy Peak; her only brother, Johnny Myers; Son-in-law, Rodger Stamm and former husband, Robert Kenny.

To tell Marie she was beloved and we will "see you later" because of Christ. A celebration of her life will be scheduled in Sedona, AZ for early summer. Donations in her honor can be made to The American Lung Assoc. www.lung.org or The American Heart Assoc. www.aha.org
