| Mohave Daily Miner, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Apr. 22 to Apr. 29, 2014 - Dorothy L. Britt, age 93, a 19-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2014. She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota and was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters, who have preceded her in death. Dorothy was a retired motel owner of 21 years in Newport, Oregon and liked to travel and visit friends and family. Mom, we will miss you and you will always be in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Britt, on February 28, 2004. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Ray) Babineau of Butte, Mont., Janice Poole and Joyce (Jerry) of Bullhead City, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson, Trevin; nieces and nephews; two sister-in-laws and many friends who will miss her. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz. The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Dorothy's memory to Unity of Mohave Valley, P.O. Box 21086, Bullhead City. Ariz. |
