Harriet V. (Cunningham) Lyon - Wilder

Harriet V. Wilder, 83, passed away March 16, 2008 in Peoria, Ariz. Harriet was born and raised in Helena, Mont., later moving to Idaho.

She married Hallie Lyon and began a family. With daughters Lana and Linda, they moved to Montana. She moved to Spokane, Wash., where she lived for more than 30 years. During that time, she had worked at Gonzaga University.

Harriet had remarried Harold Wilder, and he had passed away in 1984. Shortly thereafter, Harriet and her sister came to Wickenburg in 1990.

Harriet had been a member of the Mt. Hope Assembly of God Church and also attended the Mt. View Christian Church here in Wickenburg.

Due to a lengthy illness, she had lived in Peoria in a care home for the last several years.

She was preceded in death by her sister Jean Yeaw.

She is survived by daughters Lana Wight of Youngtown and Linda Hammons of Scottsdale; sister and brother-in-law Ann and Gene Dimico of Washington; brother Frank J. Cunningham of Old Town, Idaho; grandchildren Sandra Foster of Scottsdale, Cheryl Ault and Leah Harb of the Portland, Ore., area, and Melissa Sventek of Pensacola, Fla.; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were made under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home and Crematory.
