| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 16, 2008, p. A9 Florence Ione Dennis Turner, age 90, passed away April 8th in Sun City West, Ariz. She was born October 13, 1917 in Attica, Kan., to Arthur Wright and Mary Ann Ferguson Wright. She is preceded in death by her first husband Leo Dennis in 1975 and husband Jim Turner in 1997, sister Barbara Jean Geerdes. Florence is survived by son and daughter-in-law Donald and Ann Dennis of Fairbanks, Alaska; grandchildren Scott Dennis of San Francisco, Calif.; Steve (Deborah) Dennis of San Antonio, Texas; Teena Dennis of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Todd Dennis of San Diego, Calif.; stepdaughter Ruth (George) Stephan of Phoenix, Ariz., and their children Sarah Stephan of Seattle, Wash.; James (Veronica) Stephan of Mesa, Ariz.; brother Williard Burns (Dotty) Wright of Redding, Calif.; and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory. |
