Cathy Hubbard, 70, of Dewey, Ariz., passed away at her home on March 31, 2009.

Cathy was born and raised in Phoenix and graduated from Phoenix Union High School. She attended ASC for a short time where she met Dell Hubbard, her husband of 50 years. They were married on Sept. 13, 1957.

Cathy, an avid horsewoman, was always trail riding and has spent the last 50 years exploring trails all over the western United States. Riding horses and spending time with her family and many friends was what she enjoyed most.

She is survived by three sons, Brent (Brenda) of Chino Valley, Troy of Queen Creek and Lex (Janet) of Dewey; one sister, Pat Palmer of Phoenix; and five grandchildren, Cassie, Kallie, Kortney, Bryce and Brittany.

An outside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at her home, E. Quarterhorse Lane and S. Cherry Circle in Dewey, Ariz.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Cathy's name can be made to the Arizona Horselover's Foundation, c/o Arizona Community Foundation, 2201 East Camelback Road, Suite 202, Phoenix, Ariz., 85016.
